Epic Seven Steam Release Date and Launch
Epic Seven launched on Steam on October 29, 2026, with the Foundry server, cross-play and a packed launch event calendar.

Epic Seven is live on Steam. The store page lists October 28, 2026, while the official launch notice schedules access after the October 29 maintenance. The difference is time-zone bookkeeping on the storefront, not a second launch. If the Play button is already visible in your region, the client is ready.
The more useful question is what actually opened with the launch. Steam brought a PC client, cross-play with mobile, and a brand-new server called Foundry with its own content calendar.
Launch timeline
| Date | What happened | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| October 7, 2026 | Launch celebration notice published | Event rewards and Foundry buffs confirmed |
| October 28, 2026 | Steam store release date | Store page goes live in some regions |
| October 29, 2026 | Servers open after maintenance | Steam client and Foundry server playable |
| October 29, 2026 | Draft Arena opens on Foundry | First competitive mode available |
| November 19, 2026 | Guild War opens on Foundry | Guild content catches up |
| December 10, 2026 | World Arena opens on Foundry | RTA season structure begins |
| December 31, 2026 | Most launch events end | Buffs, free summons and Luna event close |
The staggered content schedule is deliberate. Foundry players get a level playing field before guild and RTA competition starts, while the rest of the game's modes are available from day one.
What the Steam version includes
The PC client is the full game, not a companion app or a storefront shortcut. It includes the same story, Hunts, Abyss, Arena, RTA, guild content and events as mobile, with a layout built for mouse and keyboard.
- Free to play, with the same shop and currency structure as mobile.
- Cross-play: one account can be used on Steam and mobile.
- Steam achievements and trading-card support.
- Text in Korean, English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Thai.
- Japanese voice-over was not available at launch and is scheduled to return in a later update.
The missing Japanese audio at launch is the one feature gap worth knowing about. Text localisation is broad; voice language depends on the pack installed and the in-game setting.
Steam's store page and the in-game notice can disagree by a day because the store uses a different time zone. Trust the in-game maintenance notice for the exact hour in your region.
Foundry is the real launch feature
A new server is a bigger deal than the launcher. Foundry starts everyone from zero, and its matchmaking pools are isolated from older servers for Draft Arena, Guild War and World Arena when those modes open.
That isolation has two effects. New players are not thrown against five-year-old accounts in RTA, and veterans who move to Foundry give up their old roster for a fresh race. The server also carries growth buffs through December 31:
| Buff | Effect |
|---|---|
| Catalyst points | +50% |
| Spirit Altar rune drops | 2x |
| Hero EXP | +30% |
| Gold | +30% |
| Account Rank EXP | +30% |
| Arena conquest points | 2x |
| Hunt craft materials | +50% |
| Otherworldly equipment drops | +10% |
These stack with new and returning-player buffs, which makes the first two months on Foundry the fastest progression window the game has offered in years.
Free summons and launch rewards
The launch celebration is generous enough to change how a new account should be built. The headline numbers:
- 20 free Covenant summons per day during the event period.
- Up to 1,260 free Covenant summons across the event.
- A free 5-star Luna (Limited), her Glacial Purity skin and 15 Experienced Penguins at Rank 70.
- A login gift with the New Moon Luna: Majestic Bunny Girl skin and a growth bundle containing Penguins, runes, catalysts and Spirit Bloom.
The daily summons are the reason a Steam start does not need to reroll for volume. Twenty pulls a day for two months produces more roster depth than a single lucky reroll, and the Luna reward gives every account a limited 5-star without spending.
Platforms and accounts
Epic Seven remains a mobile-first game with a PC client. The Steam version does not replace the phone app, and it does not create a separate save by default. An existing account can be converted to Steam login, while a new player can start on Steam and link the account to STOVE later.
The account conversion has a strict order and a three-month cooldown. If you already launched the Steam client and saw a new save, that is a temporary Steam account, not your old one. Our Steam account transfer guide walks through the fix.
Is the Steam version worth starting on?
Yes, if you are new or returning after a long break. You get the Foundry buffs, the free Luna track, the daily summon stack and a client that does not cook your phone. The launch window is the best time to start because every day of the buff period compounds.
Existing players with deep rosters should think before moving. Cross-play means you can install Steam and keep playing the same account, but joining Foundry is a separate decision, and the server's matchmaking isolation means your old rank and guild do not follow you.
What to do on day one
- Install the client from Steam and finish the tutorial.
- Pick Foundry if you want the launch progression race.
- Claim the login gift and check the mailbox before it expires.
- Spend the first day's free summons, then stop and plan around the results.
- Push account rank toward 70 for Luna.
- Unlock Hunts and start building a Wyvern team.
The launch calendar gives you until December 31 for most of it, but the daily summons and the growth buffs reward starting now rather than in December.
FAQ
Is Epic Seven available on Steam now?
Yes. The store page lists October 28, 2026, and the servers opened after the October 29 maintenance. The one-day difference comes from store time zones and the maintenance window.
Is the Steam version the same game as mobile?
It is the same game client with cross-play and a shared save after account linking. The Steam build adds a PC interface, keyboard and mouse support, and Steam wallet payments.
What is the Foundry server?
Foundry is the launch server for new and returning players. It has its own matchmaking pool and a set of progression buffs that run until December 31, 2026.
